| When I read the lyrics my first assumption was that it was about drugs. I didnt' make the affair relationship until I read your replies. I think that this song is obviously from heroin's point of view. It's not he, uncle, who doesn't care about your clothes, or who you are married too, but heroin. Heroin can hook anyone, regardless of race, class, age, or marital status. The song is vicious from the way its put. "And you don't know why you can't turn around and say goodbye" that's because "you" are addicted. I don't know, maybe I just have a sick fasionation with drugs, but I'm seeing the connection plain as day. | |

| Song can be taken either way. Great songs are like that, they reach people on both levels. This one can be about an affair, it could be about drugs, and it is catchy, so anyone who doesn't care about song meanings get what they want. | |
