	The idea I get from this song is that it's about a boy and a girl in a relationship, both virgins, who follow temptation and decide to have sex for the first time, and are realizing that their choice has ultimately affected their lives, and has taken their relationship to a whole new level that they probably weren't ready for. Anyone agree?

	i found the meaning of the song in an interview done with Tim guitarist from underoath...it is as follows: Tim: Its a fictional/non fictional story of two people engaging in sexual activity given the knowledge that thats not what they should be doing at the time. Its basically two christian or two people in general who have a certain set of morals they have set for themselves. And are at the point of breaking those and all the things that go through your head and the decisions you make when you decide to turn your back on what youve set for yourselves and go through with it. As the song progresses its kinda like the repercussions of it as well. If you read the lyrics its like boy, and then the conscience that is speaking to him. And its kinda a war in himself to figure out what’s right and he has some repercussions that end up pretty badly.

	the songs about 2 people who engage in pre-marital sex and feel really guilty about it later. I like this band but they can be a little heavy-handed about the religious aspect of their music which to me is a bit of turnoff. I've seen them live and there was definately a few too many attempts to push Christ on the audience. Not that there's anything wrong with being religious, I just prefer the art and the religion to be a little more seperated. As I said, good band, good music.

THey went too far and can't take it back. "Well look who's (virginity is) dying now. Slit wrist is sleeping with the girl next door. (umm... see it now?) anyways... it was supposed to be whore next door but that's really rude so they didn't say it. I think this song is too soft. anways, it still is an amazing song, just not one of their bests.

	i liked what has already been said about the meaning of the song..it makes sense to me. i love this song. its beautiful
