| okay if people dont like underoath or dont even like this song for that matter why are you leaving comments on it? its retarded as for this song i LOVEEEE it i feel very strongly about abortion and this song is perfect wow i cant even begin to explain i wish people who are thinking about abortions would see how selfish they are being why would you murder a child just because you are too young if you are too young to have a baby you are too young to be having sex you need to face the consequences all those who have gotten abortions need to be kicked in the vagina errr* | |

| Don't get me wrong, I love underoath. But I hate this song. Not only because...the lyrics are poorly written, but I just don't agree. Their pro-life. I get that. But I'm very pro-choice. And when artists write song like this it pisses me off. Pro-lifers have no right to make their opinion into everyone else's law. My opinion on abortion does not compromise the rights of others who don't hold that same opinion. Underoath, theirs does. And the line "what if you were aborted" Is pure stupidity. What if I was aborted? I wouldn't exist. So what? Things that don't exist have no opinions. I wouldn't have the sense to care nor miss anything had I been aborted. "You should have thought about the baby before you had sex" Yes because EVERYONE who has sex does so willingly and there are no rapes in the United States. Underoath is a good band, and they have good lyrics, they're good people. I would expect a better line from such a talented band. Hell, I'd expect a better song from such a talented band. "...this child has to pay" Abortion IS NOT about punishment. It's about choices. No one is going to go get pregnant, then get an abortion just so they can "punish" the FETUS (yah, it's a fetus, not a baby) Sorry about my rant on abortion but this song seriously pisses me off. To be blunt, this is a terrible song. And I expected better from such a good, talented band. | |

| I used to be pro-choice as well but the pro-lifers make very good points (this song shows examples of that) so I'm kind of undecided now. A lot of people abort just because they think it would make their life crappy instead of thinking about how the baby will turn into a child they will love unconditionally. I think if you abort, you better have a damn good reason to do so. | |

| This is a song about abortion. It is saying how babies get aborted everyday because people chose not to be careful. They took away everything the baby could have had and what it could have been. All its hopes and dreams, and how if you could have had the child it would have grown to love you. If your not ready for the consequence, then don't take the action. | |

| I tend to pretend this song doesn't exist. Underoath is one of my favorite bands, but this song seriously wrecks it for me. Abortion is a personal choice, not a political or even religious debate. Oh yes, and to any pro-lifer that may have something to say to me, I pose two questions to you: 1. Do you support wars that your country wages? 2. Do you support the death penalty? 3. Do you eat meat? If you answered yes to any of those three questions then feel free to shut your hypocritical mouth. | |

| This is what pisses me off about Underoath, I really like their music but I disagree with their views and that makes it hard to fully enjoy it. However in this instance I can't really blame them, if I was Christian I'd be 'pro-life' as well. Of course I'm not, so this and many other songs of theirs are kinda ruined for me. | |

| Alrighty then... Someone made the comment about rape as justification for an abortion... Right, makes sense, the woman was raped, so she shouldn't have to shoulder the "burden" of a child? Yeah, it's the child's fault it is the product of rape... let's kill the baby. I don't believe killing in any way shape or form is justified in any manner. And being pro-choice is being pro-murder. And I'm sorry, but that's not even my opinion. It is a fact that abortions kill babies. Besides pro-choicers, do you clarify that someone should only have the "right" to kill a baby if they were raped? Nah, you think it's ok as a form of contraceptive too. Anyone ever heard of adoption? | |
