This is tabbed in standard tuning. I've tried to give an impression of the
rythmn by repeating the notes together ie, --11-1111- are all in the first fret.
The bass starts at the same time as the guitar, and just after the drum intro.

Heard it perfrormed live by the undertones in Belfast last saterday (28th May 2005) No matter what anyone says this is an amazing song and no one can do it quite like the undertones.

the undertones - one of the most iconic and underestimated bands ever... truely amazing live seen them 3 times now... the undertones give me my teenage kicks

Wow! I can't believe there are so few comments for one of the greatest songs ever recorded IMHO. I love it because it is so simple, yet captures your feelings as a teenager so perfectly.
