Chicago, Illinois, USA-based indie rock quartet formed in 1992 around singer/guitarists Nina Gordon (b. Nina Rachel Shapiro Gordon, 14 November 1967, USA) and Louise Post (b. Louise Lightner Post, 7 December 1966, St. Louis, Missouri, USA), eventually joined by bass player Steve Lack and Gordon's brother, drummer Jim Shapiro (b. 19 March 1965, USA).
