Biography
Before becoming a viable commercial force in 1996 with their first album for RCA Records, the Verve Pipe had already released two small-scale independent albums on their own LMNO Pop! label. Led by singer, guitarist and songwriter Brian Vander Ark (b. 19 June 1964), the band was formed in East Lansing, Michigan, USA, in the early 90s. Backing Vander Ark were his brother, Brad Vander Ark (bass), Doug Corella (keyboards), Donny Brown (drums) and A.J. Dunning (guitar).
