that idea about it being domestic violence..i never thought of that. i never really think its about a girl i thought it was just about life in general.

I think...that he broke up with a girl that he still loved, and she still loved him. It left her so torn up, that she comitted suicide, and he know's its his fault, and it bothers him...i think

On the Wallflowers site Jakob clearly states that the song was not about a girl who died.
