| I know! My friend who is really smart went through th song so many times he told it.. Its About Religion and such. i forget a little of what he said but this: "Take a piece of tinsel and put it on the tree" does refer to Christmas, ofcourse a christian Holiday. "But don't forget to understand exactly whatyou put on the tree" Dont forget the TRUE meaning of Christmas (Jesus and all that) "Don't believe the florist when he tells you that the roses are free" Probably the Most emotionaly line these guys have in the song means what you think "dont believe everything you hear" Deffinatly Line Bunch number 3: "Take a wrinkled raisin, and do with it what you will Push it into third if you know you're gonna climb a hill Eat plenty of lasagna 'til you know that you've had your fill Resist all the urges that make you wanna go out and kill" Means you can have all the fun you want..Go the extra Mile, Eat all you want, without wanting to kill someone for it" i suppose. | i think Xesh was on the right track. life is most enjoyable when you 1) are able to see things for what they really are ("don't forget to understand exactly what you put on the tree") 2)don't allow others to dictate what you do, believe, eat, etc. ("don't believe the florist when he tells you that the roses are free"). the point of this song is to say that you can do whatever you want, however you want - it really doesn't matter - as long as you don't hurt anyone else along the way ("resist all the urges that make you want to go out and kill"). and gener of course wants to join in your fun. | |

| I've no clue what the fuck they're rambling on about but this song makes me want to fucking kill myself because a female Ween fan with identical taste in music who also happened to be fucking gorgeous introduced me to this song and I never had the courage to ask her the fuck out and now she's going to another fucking college and I'm never going to see her again and this fucking happy-crappy weirdo song reminds me of her every time I hear it but I can't seem to remove it from my fucking playlist because I'm a fucking loser and I want to fucking DIE. | |
