| i don't know if it's jealousy, but merely lack of trust. he doesn't want her to impress anyone other than himself, and expects her to stay in the house, which is somewhat selfish and controlling. basically, he wants her for himself and no one else..hence, the title of the song. | |

| I dont think that the song makes them appear sexist at all. I mean would anyone want their boy/girlfriend looking at other people as they passed, or complimenting others in your prescence? its only bc its from a guy's viewpoint. i'm a girl, and think there's nothing sexist about this...i know i want my boyfriend to dress nicely for and look at only me. | |
