| First off, everyone chill out, this is just a single.. Maladroit sounds nothing like "Dope Nose" and Green is nothing like "Hash Pipe" so settle down. Secondly, I think there is a difference between Weezer writing a song about how fake Hollywood is compared to GC writing a song about the same thing. Weezer does not seem to play games of Hollywood, they do not drive escalades and all that shit, so them insulting the people that do is not hypocritical. Lastly this song is not about not fitting it, it is about how people are fake but that does not matter, cause he is just gonna do his thing and be happy for it. Catchy as hell, and the wa-wa solo kicks ass. | |

| WeezerChic is right, people grow, musicians grow. If you really are a hardcore fan (hahah i said hardcore), you would know that the great works of 'the blue albulm' werent really weezer's work neither was 'the green albulm' so booh yahh!!! So, really this song is fabulous, yeah its not say it aint so level lyrics, but its fun and more experimental sound wise than anything theyve done since pinkerton. So hell, sit back, relax and stop fucking bitching. Gawd, no wonder rivers locked himself in that room for so long. | |
