| about the december being in two songs. he also uses remember at the end of the line before he says december. so these two words are meant to be together. | |

| first off, this is a fantastic song. i think it might be about a kid who grew up rich , as smackhead pedo said, and that his mother spoiled him to no end. "...That a boy is not a man Until he makes a stand Will, I'm not a genius But maybe you'll remember this I never said I wanted to be a man." this could be someone, maybe his dad, saying he has to move on with his life and become a man. but he isnt too keen about that and would rather stay put. | |

| i believe this songis about loving the free life of childhood, hating responsibility. and loving being spoiled and not having a worry in the world. he says he'll never have to hear the ring of school bells or work. meaning his mother provides for him. and the love he gets from her. and he also says "never said i want to be a man" so... thats my take on it | |

| "I'm wearing out the flooring In a cheap motel But I don't have to work And I might be sinning But I never have to listen to The rings of school bells " is he singin about a male whore? | |
