My take is he and his woman got into a fight. Both said some things and it was a bad split. But, she's changing her mind and wants to get back together. In the meantime, he's just waiting for her to come around. He's not going to go chasing after her but he wouldn't reject her if she came back. My favorite line: "Make a sound and I'll make you feel right" (Just ring the doorbell and I'll let you in and it will all be good!)

Er, my friend was singing this the other day so I listend to it. At first I thought he was singing about his doorbell, until I found out he didn't make the song. Made me laugh. But, this is not supposed to be exactly a funny song I guess...well, I like this song.
