"When a man lies, he murders
some part of the world.
These are the pale deaths
which men miscall their lives.
All this I cannot
bear to witness any longer
Cannot the kingdom of
salvation take me home?"

awesome song....my favorite part is when it slows down in the middle and the guitarist in the video uses a violin bow to make that kick ass sound.then it picks up again!!! genius!!

does anyone know what Coverdale says or ad-libs when the song slows down in the middle of the studio version? His voice track is turned way down that it sounds like he's whispering.

"sounds much like led zeppelin imo" Robert Plant (Led Zeppelin, Plant & Page, solo) thought so too, and wasn't very pleased.
