Before I begin the tab, I would like to say this is the first tab
that I've ever created. It's a pretty easy song, and I haven't
been able to find this tab on this internet, so that was suprising
to me. I should note that I figured this all out by ear, so if anything
seems off that's why.. But anyways, onto the tab:

Verse - repeat a large number of times
G|--------------------------|
D|--------------------------|
A|--7-7---7-7---7-7-5-7-7---|
E|------7-----7-------------|

You can also just repeat this
G|--------------|
D|--------------|
A|--7-7---7-7---|
E|------7-----7-|

Chorus - repeat four times
G|--------------------------------------------|
D|--------------------------------------------|
A|--7-7--5-7--7-7-5-5-7-5--5-5-4-5--5-5-4-2-0-|
E|--------------------------------------------|

G|--------------------|
D|--------------------|
A|--4-4-2-0-2-0---0---|
E|--------------4---0-|
After this part there are different end parts throughout the
song and I'm pretty sure I figured most of them out. So you play
the Chorus, then end with one of the parts, and then after playing
a part play the Chorus again (except after the last (fourth)
time through when you have to go back to the Verse):

Part 1:
G|--------------------------|
D|--------------------------|
A|--2-2222-22-0---00--------|
E|--------------4-----------|

Part 2:
G|--------------------------|
D|--------------------------|
A|--2-2222-22-4-2-0-2-22----|
E|--------------------------|

Part 3:
G|----------------------------|
D|----------------------------|
A|--2-22222/14-14141414141414-|
E|----------------------------|

Afterwards, the song just goes back and forth between the two
parts. So here's the times that the different parts are played:
Verse 0:00 to 3:57
Chorus 3:58 to 4:57
Verse 4:58 to 7:41
Chorus 7:42 to 8:40
Verse 8:41 to 10:09
Chorus 10:09 to end

That's all there is to it, I hope you enjoyed my first Bass tab :)

oh man...i have a strange story behind me discovering this song. so i heard this awesome long song on kvsc (a college radio station in MN) and i was like awesome, but they have such long sets and i was never in my car when i heard the dj say who it was. i just loved this song from the first time i heard it, incompletely of course. i won a ghost is born from another radio station that is less college... but anyway i didn't listen to it v. well... only the song #s that my sister told me were worth it. about two months after i got the cd i heard spiders on kvsc again and this time i DID hear it announced. i was like, 'no way!' i've been in love w/ this song for months and i finally find out that i have the cd. i'm such a moron. anyway. this song makes me v. focused for some reason or another. sorry about the stupid story. just shows how stupid i've been.

This song is a lot like Muzzle of Bees, the next song on the album, in structure. It dilly-dallies for a few minutes, then lets loose. I have a really short attention span for songs, but for some reason I have no problem waiting for this song to build up. Heh, WeedMan, you're such a stereotype...

The studio version of this song sucks, they sucked all the life out of it. This _has_ to be heard live; it ended up being the best track on Kicking Television, even.
