This is my favorite song by Yellowcard, it's defintiely awesome. Actually, probably one of my favorite songs by any band ever. This song really makes me just want to go to California. I like the version that kinda sounds more acousticish on the EP better.

The meaning of this song is clear. It's about the band moving from their home in Florida to sunny California for a shot at the music business. I love the violin at the beginning of the song... Simply amazing.

Actually, this song is about when Ryan went out to CA to be in Craig's Brother, he thought he was leaving FL fo rockstar land. This was well before he was in YC.

song rocks along with all their stuff. both the old emocore and the newer emo shows good development...but one question....is the "rock star land" version the same on both one for the kids 2001 and the still standing ep? or are their seperate versions sorta like the tbs demo and new album...if anyone knows "holla"...right...lemme know. thanks.

I love the "Somewhere Out There" sample- some of us kids from the 80's can remember "Fievel," I'm sure. I can't wait to see them with Less Than Jake, Whippersnapper, and Sugarcult!
