Biography
Up until the early 90s, most of Australia's best know rock imports seemed to fit neatly into categories of heavy metal (AC/DC), punk (Radio Birdman), or pop rock (Men At Work, INXS). This situation changed with the emergence of bands such as You Am I, who embraced alternative music but also demonstrated a keen ear for a sweet pop melody.
