| ZAO's last show was Great, during the last 3 songs people where on stage and we ot to share the mic with dan. And the funny part was, zao's old gutarest (russ)played with them and they have livingsacrifices gutarest as a back up cause there gutarest couldnt show along with rob there bassest. But i liked this "ZAO" better! And sloppymantoucher how cant you beleive in God, if there wasn't a God where would you and i be....NOWHERE!!! To deny God is to deny your self man. And you had to understand on judgement day if you don't take the lord Jesus as your personall savor and ask for forgiveness, your blood is in your own hands. And if you hear your names not in the book of life you have no exuce. Thats just the way it is man. - God Bless ps- i'll be praying for you | |

| You know, after reading through a lot of these comments, I'm fairly disgusted with some of the people on this site, for several reasons: 1) I don't see the point in starting off a message about how you love this song with, "I'm not a Christian, BUT..." - Do you say this about bands you like that are atheist? "I'm not an atheist, BUT..." - Saying something like this only leaves the door open for people to start fighting 2) Though the Bible might say things like "If you don't already believe in God, you're going to Hell" - It also says a lot of things that denominations of Christianity tend to ignore. It's open for interpretation, and if it were all taken word-for-word, we'd all be 7th Day Adventists and believe that the universe began EXACTLY as it was written in the Bible. Is there anything wrong with that? No, but even as a Catholic, during the 13 years (k-12) I was taught in Catholic school, I was taught that the creation story was meant to be taken as a metaphor. 3) Muslims are NOT supposed to kill non-believers. That's a misinterpretation of the Koran, and inherently, the Christian God and Allah are the same god. I think when people actually read the Koran and read the opening lines, "This book is for the believers' eyes only, anyone who reads this as a nonbeliever will have a special punishment waiting for him," they tend to be a little put off by that (understandably). 4) Getting in religious arguements are stupid. You cannot possibly prove someone "wrong" in these cases. The key thing is to keep an open mind, and try to at least understand that for the most part, everyone else just wants to get along. Who are you to tell someone if he doesn't believe in God he's going to hell? What about virtuous atheists - Ones who go out of their way to help others, ones who have a conscience, etcetera - Are they wrong? And what about (though, I haven't seen anybody like this on here YET) atheists who feel the NEED to get into an arguement with anyone who is a theist about how they feel having beliefs like that is foolish? That's just plain ignorant (Believe me, I hate tossing that word around, but it's true; they're ignoring the whole idea of what being a Christian is, and just pointing out what they feel is wrong with Christianity). No offense to anyone, but the few atheists I know tend to be a lot more decisive and narrow-minded than anyone else I've ever MET! 5) Stick to the song. This is songmeanings.net, RIGHT? And hell, this song isn't even about Christianity, so get a grip, grab a cold drink, read up on the lyrics, and RELAX. | |

| Sommy, you are way off on a lot of stuff. You've obviously never read the Koran and the fact that you believe what you learned in Catholic school is kinda scary. But its alright dude, your entitled to your opinions. Is it ironic that you wanted to stick to songmeanings, but didn't write a single thing about "5 Year Winter"? I think others will agree that its fun to talk and debate about religion. I LOVE it. I really do. If I offend anyone w/my comments i'm truly sorry, that's not my intention. I can only say what I think is true, but no one really knows half the time, including me. Alright, peace out. | |

| I'm a Christian, but i won't force my ideas on you..you have a right to your opinion and i have the right to express my beliefs...if you don't want to, fine by me, your choice but i won't degrade you by not agreeing with me...nuff said on that issue, i suppose (Jesus invites the man, but doesn't chase after him in Matthew) anyhow, i agree...truely a great song, i feel daniel on this one...and this is one of those things that you just couldn't do in a guitar solo in a happy voice...this is what zao is all about and ThirdZero...from my many times of listening to this, i do believe that on my mp3 he does not say love daniel ...i think he wrote it in that format in the lyrics book...with the dear tiffany...then love, daniel.. i haven't seen the book for this but i wouldn't doubt it if it has a date in the corner or something In Christ ~Proto | |

| I'm a Christian, but Royal77 has a good point. The Bible itself says that those who don't believe will rot in hell for eternity. I don't know anyone who would want to rot in hell, so most people choose not to believe that its true. How can we be so sure we're right anyway? It seems foolish to not even consider for a second that the Bible might be flawed. I don't believe it b/c its been proven true cause it never has been, I believe by faith and faith alone, and live it cause I want to and think its good, but Royal77 and others are my brothers man enjoying Zao just like me and all of us on this site. Everyone is free to believe whatever they want. I mean, Muslims are supposed to kill nonbelievers... its the same thing, thinking they are right and everyone else is wrong. And they go to extremes. Its almost prideful to think we're right and everyone else is deceived. And it always causes problems, even to the point of death. There is just something not right about that. Anyway, Zao is sweet!! We are going to cover this song in a new hardcore band we're putting together here in Cleveland. I have never heard a voice like his... wow. It doesn't get any better than this! Much love to my hardcore brothers & sisters, --SP-- | |

| 1. this is one of my favorite Zao songs ever, out of every song they've made I relate to this one the most....because everyone has someone in thier life that they'd be better off comepletely cutting out 2. I'm not a crhistian, but I still like this band 3. Zao sang more about god on the first two albums than the later stuff. 4. not only do I think the later stuff is less preachy, but also heavier. | |
