This song isn't just some romantic bullshit. Its about some highschooler who likes someone so much that even thpough they keep getting rejected they still can't abandon those feelings. No one really seems to see the pain that lies behind the words in this song. I think when this song feels like the soundtrack to your life, only then do you stop seeing it as a cute romantic song.

this is one of my favorite songs, by any artist, i must love it so much its been on my profile for almost a year without wanting to change it. i think it can be a feeling about a new love, an old love, or anything it applies to everything.

I honestly don't care what the song is about. It's got such a wonderful, youthful exhuberance to it I can't help but love it. It's so rare to see a band with this kind of euphoric abandon these days...
